The plush toy below is called the Manananggal, which is a vampire-like witch creature in Filipino folklore who detaches herself from her lower half and flies off using her bat-like wings to hunt for sleeping pregnant women feeding on their unborn children.
I thought that this particular character would be fun to create as a plush because I would essentially be “softening” or “plushie-fying” a character that is otherwise really scary and terrible.
